First, notice is served to formally end your management agreement with your existing agent — not your tenant. Your tenancy remains fully in place, and your tenant continues living in the property as normal.
We then liaise directly with the outgoing agent to obtain all necessary documentation, including tenancy agreements, compliance certificates, inventories, and relevant financial records. This ensures there are no gaps in legal or management responsibilities.
Once the paperwork is complete, we carry out an initial inspection of the property. This allows us to assess its condition, ensure compliance, and introduce ourselves to your tenants. At this stage, we also arrange the change of rent payment instructions, making the transition clear and straightforward for everyone involved.
